Once upon a time when the earth was younger and the seas covered the land and freshwater seas were abundant, billions of algae creatures developed. Millions of years ago, in all the waters of the earth, microscopic one-celled plants called Diatoms (melosira preiclandica) took the minerals from the water and created protective shells for themselves. They lived in quantities beyond the mind's ability to conceive, and as they died and their shells drifted to the bottom of the sea beds, vast deposits were laid down.
Through the history of man's existence, uses have been found for these deposits, called diatomite deposits, and today there are many ways for man to benefit from using this material. For example, some pharmaceutical companies include it in their formulas and some toothpaste companies use it in toothpaste to clean teeth.
Diatomite?
It contains a small amount of 14 trace minerals. It is composed of amorphous silica and is recognized as "food chemical codex grade" with less than 1% crystalline silica.
In toxicity tests using FDA protocol, there is no damage to organs when fed to animals in large quantities. It is easily digested by earthworms, but for insects and internal worms, it's another story. Diatomite powder works inside animals and humans, controlling worms and other internal parasites. Everyone who has used this for themselves, or their pets, or their livestock find that this method is gentle and natural. One interesting side effect of feeding animals the powder is that their manure seems to have a degree of built-in fly control. Wonderful for birds. When the razor-sharp particles come in contact with insects and worms they cause many abrasions, resulting in loss of body water and death by dehydration. Other side effects include activation of septic tanks and reduced odors. Put some in your garbage can. Dust your pets for fleas. Put it in your rice, flours, grains, and seeds to prevent insect infestation. Rake it into your carpet and it will kill fleas and deodorize. It is even helpful with slugs and mildew.
Use it and benefit
Horses are wormed twice a year, usually with dangerous chemicals. When they are fed 2% of this dust in their food, they never have parasites again. Most people have some parasites also and now you can have the same gentle and natural "cure" that has worked so well with animals for so long. I take a heaping teaspoon in a glass of distilled water daily for 30 days twice a year. Try it and find out what seems right for you. Maybe ticks won't bother you anymore.
Put this Diatomaceous Earth over the top of a bucket of stored grains and the insects will stay out of it. A good technique for survival storage.
Warning
All diatomite is not created equal. This particular deposit is the only one in North America that I know of that is suitable for ingestion. I bought some swimming pool DE (Diatomaceous Earth) once and it was absolutely useless, even for killing bugs. Do not use any other DE for internal use. The owner of this deposit had been taking this stuff daily in large amounts for over ten years before I offered it to you.
The Source of Parasites
They live in or on the ground so any animal or human that contacts the ground is exposed to them. The best sources being lettuce, radishes, carrots and potatoes and pets, especially the ones that lick your face. It is best to ignore this information and focus on clearing the critters and becoming so healthy that they can't live in you comfortably.
Some Symptoms
Research shows that at least 90% of humans have parasites that cause serious problems, such as paralysis, muscular and nervous system damage, eyesight impairment (especially in children), hearing loss, low blood sugar, mucous secretions and difficulty gaining weight.
Diatomaceous Earth comes in 4 oz packages for $5.00 and it should be at least a half-year's supply unless you have a lot of anthills to get rid of.
