The bad news is that Americans are getting fatter by the minute, in spite of low fat diets.  The good news is that people who take an essential fatty acid called CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) drop up to 20% of their body fat in just three months.  This recent research supports years and years of studies suggesting you may be able to eat fat to get thin.

CLA softgels are derived from sunflower oil. It takes 6 softgels daily to bring about desired results. Author Lane Williams discusses the chemistry and physiology of CLA and its role in treating weight issues, cancer,  and arteriosclerosis in a new booklet called CLA, Conjugated Linoleic Acid.  He explains that CLA is a natural polyunsaturated fatty acid found in beef, lamb, veal, turkey and especially dairy products (not the fat-free type).  Scientists recently synthesized CLA, providing the benefits without the saturated fat, cholesterol, and other negative effects of eating fatty animal products (it=s made from sunflower oil instead).

CLA=s ability to significantly decrease body fat and increase lean muscle without exercise was recently recognized by a U.S. patent.  Scientists say CLA levels in American diets have declined by nearly 80% in recent years because animals today are fed less grass and many people avoid animal products, especially animal fat.  Humans cannot produce this essential fatty acid, but the supplement provides the benefits without the negative effects of eating foods such as cooked hamburgers.  It is ideal for vegetarians.

Researchers believe CLA interacts with hormones which are involved in immune response as well as accumulation of body fat and loss of body weight.  CLA appears to cause fat cells to empty themselves to feed active muscle cells.  CLA also has antioxidant properties.  In a University of Wisconsin study of CLA supplementation, mice lost between 57% and 70% of body fat, rats lost 23%, chicks lost 22% and pigs showed backfat reduction of up to 27%.  They also showed reduced weight gain and food intake while increasing lean body mass. 

Recent animal research showed CLA supplementation inhibited cancer of the stomach, skin, colon, and breast.  Animal studies showed it also reduced both blood cholesterol and arteriosclerosis.  CLA offers multiple benefits.

RESULTS IN TWO TO FOUR WEEKS:

In his booklet, Williams focuses on CLA as an essential nutrient for cutting cancer risk, reducing body fat and providing antioxidant properties.  People taking CLA usually report results in two to four weeks.  Four capsules of the supplement provide CLA equivalent to the amount found in 6 pounds of beef and 50 slices of cheese.  It has proved safe at normal or massive dosages.  But you only need 6 capsules daily.

I never looked for a weight reduction product for our customers because I believed the answer was in one=s daily diet and lifestyle.  In my own case, whenever I gained a few excess pounds, I would tighten up on a healthy diet again and drop off those extra pounds right away..
