Hello folks! It has been great to see Dr. Clark’s books just flying out of here these past two months. Green Foods
Six thousand years ago, up in the mountains of Northwest USA, there existed a beautiful lake destined to be of great importance to us today. Over the centuries, erosion of these mountains filled the lakebed until the lake disappeared and now there remains a flat plain of alluvial soil very rich in minerals. Enzymes contained in green foods are identical to those in the body. The body can make only a finite amount of enzymes – when they are used up the body dies. But green foods add enzymes to your bank account, like a deposit. Cooked or processed foods contain no enzymes, only raw unprocessed foods do. It is vital that we consume food rich in enzymes, these ‘designer proteins’ are the catalysts for the body’s millions of chemical reactions.
Trace minerals are the third element in green foods and always comes packaged with chlorophyll and enzymes. Minerals come from the soil. Mineral deficient soil means mineral deficient plants and mineral deficient people. By trace minerals we mean iron, zinc, selenium, iodine, copper, fluoride, manganese, molybdenum and chromium. Iron cannot be readily absorbed and causes problems as a supplement but green foods are rich in iron and as such it is readily recognized and utilized in the body, especially in strengthening the blood. Cell salts (sodium) and potassium are needed for the bowel’s peristaltic action. Potassium enables the bowel to contract and sodium allows it to expand. Trace minerals also stimulate the production of vitamin B12 by friendly bacteria.
Body acidity is a disease condition. Phytochemicals in the green foods combat acidity, they are a powerful alkalizer. Some areas in the body must be alkaline, for example blood must be 7.4 pH. When there are not enough green foods, the blood will steal from other alkaline areas what it needs to remain alkaline. First it steals from the mouth turning it acid, which results in plaque, periodontal disease, bleeding gums, cavities and bad breath. A daily rinse with a green drink normalizes the pH and makes a dramatic change in the above. Additionally, an acid mouth changes your taste. Salt, fat and sugar taste better, and green foods simply don’t taste that good because the pH in our mouths is so acidic that we do not recognize foods that are good for us. When our mouths become alkaline good food tastes much better and the bad foods are less attractive.
The small intestine needs to be alkaline to regulate the passage of glucose through the intestine. This allows the use of glucose for energy instead of having it stored as fat. This is where all that extra energy comes from that is noticeable when you take green drinks as they do not have calories. They speed up meta-bolism and stimulate the body to use the calories that have already been stored. Hypo-glycemics and diabetics both benefit from this. More energy and greater endurance. AGING WITH ENERGY AND VITALITY
Many of you may remember the many stories of Ana Aslan’s discovery of GH-3 some 50+ years ago. Ana was an M.D. and Director of the National Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics in Romania. The active ingredient of GH-3 is procaine. Procaine is natural and is composed of PABA and DEAE, both water soluble B-vitamins. Dentists and surgeons used procaine for minor surgery because it numbed the area, broke down quickly and soon left the system, and showed no after-effects. But Ana Aslan stabilized the procaine so that it would not numb the body’s cells. As with many scientific discoveries, the regenerative potentials of procaine came to light by accident. KILL VIRUS WITH SILVER WATER
